I've seen different things at different games about this but; does wearing a pair of dark colored glasses make you immune to dominate or just make you look cool?

By the book you don't even need eye contact to dominate. Just as long as you follow the Gaze/Focus rules.
As an example, anyone who targets you is a valid target for dominate as you have their focus.

As one of the people with those sunglasses, I would like to point out what Paul has above. My sunglasses are solely because, as a Follower of Set, Dennis is light sensitive.

They are correct! Sunglasses have no effect on the dominate discipline.

OOC they don't *just* look cool -- they also hide unusual eye colors. Some kindred have serpentis, animal features, etc.

But to be fair ... they do look really cool as well.

Ronny I want you to know that I only know a few lines to the song, and they've been on repeat in my head all day... Covering features or at least making them less noticeable, flavor, etc, just makes sense to me. But when it comes to disciplines, flaws, or any other mechanic the system seems to really discourage a lot of the loopholes we've seen in past games. It's like they've played vampire and saw the shenanigans people pulled.
