*Walks slowly through the park. Looking for anything normal and non normal. Finds a flat spot on the grass and decides to take a seat. Looks up to the sky, and realizes just how small manchester is in the global scheme of things.* Changes, they happen. We don't need to understand why. Stagnation is dangerous, adaptation is vital.
*listens for any movement while he speaks out loud. Never know who is going to be around*

He most likely hears the click of boots approaching before he sees her. Addy walks somberly down the park trail looking at her feet as she idles by. She nearly walks past him before she suddenly becomes aware of his presence. She looks a tad startled, but quickly resumes her normal calm veneer.
"Mr. E I am dreadfully sorry to interrupt your contemplation. Please pardon my manners."

*Looks up through his glasses.*
My dear. I'm sorry to have startled you. Please won't you join me? *stands up and offers a place on the grass next to him.*

Addy nods and eases herself down on the dewy grass without her characteristic chatter. She absent-mindedly rubs her furry tipped ears and lets herself enjoy the quiet noises of the park while she waits for E to speak.

*watching her* My dear, you know you can talk. Unless you can't, and in that case I'm sorry for implying.

"I'm terribly sorry, Mr. E. I hope my quiet is of no offense. It's just..." her words trail off and she fidgets for a moment with the tender blades of spring grass about her feet. After a moment, she adds, "I heard what you said as I approached. You are right about change and how we must adapt, but what are your thoughts about traditions? Should we abandon them as changes overtake us or should we fight to hold on to what once was?"

*sits back down after she sits. Smiles* lovely quiet evening we're having. To bad the voices of this city wound itself.

*tilts his head after her comment.* My dear, the unheard voices of this cities are to loud. *gently states* Please can the dancing and get to the point. There are many issues at hand, and I would like to make sure that neither of us are interpreting each other incorrectly.

Addy nods her head and takes a long look around them to ensure their privacy before she continues. "You heard the Prince say it is time to try something new, yes? And I must admit that I agree. We've too long been at this war with no hope of breaking the stale mate. And yet, the cost of progress is to abandon traditions. In order to compromise with the Sabbat, the Prince has allowed them access to my clan's traditional feeding grounds. I am deeply saddened by this, and..." her voice trails away as she searches for the words to adequately capture her thoughts. She furrows her brow for a moment and then sighs heavily. "I suppose what I'm asking is, do you think I should just let it go?"
She laughs lightly after the heavy question hangs in the air for a moment and then she says, "I honestly don't know why I'm confessing all this to you. I hope you don't think me the fool for being so plain."

*looks around to make sure no one is around before he starts to rely* Addy, my dear. Each of us try to hold onto things. The trick is finding the correct ones to fight for. *smiles*
What Tradition are you claiming has been abandoned? And or broken? *asks in a monotone voice*
The stalemate with the Sabbat is an ongoing issue in numerous cities. You don't try to kick them out of the whole city at once, you find the locations that are worth fighting for. Then you remove them from those locations. To many times I have seen Kindred expend resources with little to no positive results. *starts to tilt his head as he goes on*
We, the city needs to find out what those locations mean to the Sabbat, and why the Prince would give them access to those locations that are in our territory. *stops the tilting and ends very monotone*

"Oh dear, let me clarify. I didn't mean our official Kindred Traditions, I mean more of carry on with what we have done in the past. Those grounds are the very same where my Sire first taught me to hunt and the trees there still echo with her voice." Addy grows quiet and contemplative for a moment.
"I don't mean to trouble you with my personal business, Mr. E, but I do appreciate your sage advice. I have always found that Malkav's children are intuitive, so I thank you for your counsel."
She adjusts her hat and straightens her coat before adding, "Can I be of any service to you, or shall I remain in your debt?"

*Laughs* Thank you for your classification. But your home, it's up to you if it's worth fighting for.
Abby, as of now I do not need anything. And our conversation does not cost you anything. I'm sure in the future, there will be something I ask from you.
Do you mind I'd I ask a question?
