(To be honest, investigating the Penthouse is something we have planned for Saturday. We're not prepared to run it over the forums.)
The recent snows, and unusual amount of police patrols, make it difficult to look very thoroughly. Also the doorman, and cameras. Might provide evidence of your passage.

Max straights up as people start trying to go now.
"If I may be so bold. Shouldn't there be a plan in place and some resources allocated to ease the process. This can be as simple as using Auspex to spirit touch objects to see what happened, or how can secure access for the investigation to work freely in the area. But right now storming out might be especially bad. Mostly because if I were to guess at those responsible, they'd be watching for who shows up to keep track of our response. We should practice caution in our approach."
