"I am still unclear you intentions to test the paper but since it means so much to you to ensure that this is in fact a letter from an Archon be my guest. Julia I assume you will be willing to assist Prescott on this matter."
Walking over to Mr. Ulrich as he holds out the scroll
"As the current head of the Toridor clan I will give this to you to hold onto ill be expecting you to return it to me by saturday in one piece."
Turning back to Miss knight. Mr Lincoln speaks to her directly
"I will graciously accept your help saturday another set of eyes will add to my investigation well."

"Excellent. Again -- there is probably no cause for alarm -- but that was also the case with the Prince's meeting, and that ending was disastrous. Even if there is only a small chance that this is a ploy..." he looks around keenly, "...it will be good to know that we have at least tested the letter's authenticity. Even if it is only a formality, no?" Prescott walks up to Mr. Ulrich. "And I thank you for looking over the theater. Admittedly I am rather fond of the place. I would hate to see anything untoward happen here and it's good to see it in capable hands..." Absent-mindedly he turns around, and like a switch, his face returns to its usual carefree veneer. "Miss Knight? May I have the honor of your assistance prior to this Saturday? I have a laboratory that you may consider freely at your disposal." He smiles. "And I have the utmost respect for those who study in the field of forensics."

Who wears sunglasses at night? Apparently, darkly dressed men with thick red beards and long hair, apparently. He is easy to miss at first, but he slips into the back of the main theater to watch the discussion developing inside. He lifts the sunglasses, squinting faintly as if the lighting in the room hurts his eyes. He clears his throat slightly, stepping forward to leave the anonymity at the edge.
"So... who was the one that put out the word to meet here?" asks Dennis, glancing between the faces available to see.

Max considers the scroll for a while before reaching out and putting his hand on it.
"Just so you know, the test you're authorizing involves breaking down an item into its base components for analysis. Odds are it can't be returned in one piece and still under go the test you authorized. Though that being said, I'm not sure where that goes, unless Archons use a special ink or have messages hidden in the paper unless reveled with heat. I think the big ones are matching up the Latin as his addition to his signature. Almost wish it just had sealing wax and a thumb print at this rate, but what else is a good start for recognition of letter from authority. Kind of a puzzler on how to know someone I haven't met."

When the new Sunglasses man walks in and asks his question, Max looks at him, eyeing up the next arrival.

"im willing to accept your tests damaging it and removing a piece for conclusive results. Like you I'm unsure how this will help but since Prescott thinks its required i don't mind letting him get his confirmation."
Turning to the new arrival
"I called the meeting what do you know about whats going on in this city."

Squinting slightly, there is a moment of attempted recognition from Dennis towards Andrew. It stretches for a solid bit of time before it finally arrives, and he nods.
"Mister... Lincoln," he offers, sounding likely more confident than he truly is. "I... read the newspaper, if that is what you are asking about. Is there something more I should know?"

"The lack of an actual fingerprint and sealing wax was definitely the first clue for me. As for the tests -- that's not what I have in mind. I probably will cause very little harm to all but a few letters. It depends on the results." Prescott breathes easily. "Like I said -- it's probably nothing. But given the circumstances...." he trails off as Dennis walks in. "It seems we have a second visitor wearing sunglasses at night. What an odd time to be a member of society."

If you want someone to use our understanding of impressions on that scroll, I can offer my services. My way, should in no way harm the item. *looks to the rest of the group for a response*

Quinn walks purposefully into the theater .
"I understand you have been asking for me" "I also understand that some disrespectful comments were pointed my way."

Prescott raises a brow and looks over his shoulder at the Caitiff. "I'm afraid I hadn't mentioned you this evening, Quinn. The most disrespectful comments... and they were disrespectful... came from a man who did not identify himself, aside from his mentioning that he was an agent of the Archon Oskar Nordskov. If I see him again -- and haven't forgotten him -- you have my word I will point him out to you." He gives Quinn a fatherly smile. He then turns to Enrique. "'E,' was it? I'm sure miss Knight won't mind your assistance. We should get to work...."

"I do not mind." She turns to Mr. Lincoln, "I will see you Saturday night. " Julia walks over to the door and holds it open for E and Prescott. "After you."

"How ungentlemanly of me," Prescott says with a smile. As he walks through the door he turn towards the others. "I'll have to make it up to you, Miss Knight. Farewell, Mr. Lincoln -- Mr Ulrich. Mr Volkov! My card." He tosses the business card onto the table before the Caitiff. "You say you like books; we should talk." He takes up his cane and heads out of the building.
