OOC Note: not all players have time to post on these forums, indeed many don't even have accounts. The keeper is one such example of this. So while it may make sense in character to wonder where they are, please don't deride characters whose player does not have time to post.

Ooc: I actually thought the person that was getting the door and such was the keeper. My B.

OOC: Pardon my supposition, but was a keeper even ever selected? I had assumed there either wasn't a player who had asked for the role, or it was an NPC (possibly one who perished in the fire). Of course, I may be mistaken, but if there is a keeper in Manchester Prescott would know who they are, right?

Ooc: there has been a keeper since day 1. He's even listed on the status sheet.

OOC: Ah -- I looked for them and must have missed them. My mistake.

Prescott gives a strange smile to himself, but continues to speak to Addy. "Are you new in the area? Manchester can be a charming place. The people here can even be quaint. If you're a woman who prefers interesting times over the more mundane, we're on the brink of something extraordinary, I assure you." Prescott takes a moleskine notebook from his pocket and begins writing. "Anything you're looking for while you're in town? I'd be pleased to help you." "Mr. Von Lieberman, your graciousness is utterly delightful. If I were new to the city, I would humbly accept your offer." She smiles again then adds, "you are astute to notice that I am a woman who enjoys interesting prospects. Perhaps I can offer my services?" She procures a small calling card from her pocket and holds it out to Prescott. It is a vintage-looking card that reads "Vexations & Villany, Addy Becke".

Watching Mr. Smith leave and disappear before heading to the door to close it. Mr. Lincoln turns to the kindred in the room. Who here is good at ensuring the safety of a location I want this place Our Elysium to be secure by Saturday. In the a sense of a keeper we must make sure that we can host an archon without interruptions. Addy turns her attention from Prescott to address him. "Pardon me for interrupting, but the Keeper and I are acquainted and I would be happy to relay a message if you would like to discuss business regarding the Elysium." She smiles and extends a gloved hand, "Have we met? I'm Addy Becke."

Turning his gaze towards the female vampire before him Mr. Lincoln studies her for a moment before speaking.
"I'm afraid I have no recollection of our meeting. But if you can relay a message to the keeper I'd enjoy the pleasure of his company and speak with him of delegation of responsibility it's hardly fair to expect one to protect both Elysiums at once. Have you spoken with him I'm afraid at this point it's quite unclear who is still standing from the council of last week. His presence would help us regain our strength. "
OOC: was going after him for people just walking into Elysium with no one slowing them down by staff request I'm going to be dialing it back.

"How exciting..." Prescott says and smiles to himself. "Mr Lincoln? I need a word with you before you go."

Max nods. He doesn't like the fact that his move is being called a gamble, or too lucid. But it's really just arguing pride with and Elder and a Servitor, and that's not exactly a good battle to pick. So he stands at the ready and observes the proceedings. When addressed for watching the door.
"Well, I'm not really the keeper. But I would like to point out that there can be 2 lesser keepers, 2 lesser harpys, and 2 deputies. So showing initiative and responsibility is always a great way to keep options open, even if it's not fully under control from the start."

Who else have you already murdered in your mind, Mr. Lincoln?" Addy smiles brightly as though pleased with her own turn of phrase. "Perhaps we should take a more measured approach, hm? I shall call Quinn right now, if you wish? He's probably in the permanent Elysium, you see. It's quite alright to make the mistake, Mr. Lincoln, you said you were new to the Queen City, yes?" She pulls out her cell phone from her purse. "Did you know these delightful things can talk? It's marvelous, really." She double-taps the button and says, "Call Quinn". While the line rings she asks, "What would you like me to ask him precisely?"

Mr. Lincoln's face shows change as he looks coldly at Mrs. Becke.
"murdered in my head odd choice of words when he has already failed to get in contact with us after we tried to reach out to everyone. Ask the keeper for a status report on him and any other members of the council he is aware of. "
Turning to Prescott Mr. Lincoln addresses him
"would you rather speak in private or publicly prescott."

Addy wanders a few feet away when Quinn answers her call to speak in private. She animatedly converses on her phone for a few moments then puts the device back in her purse. She looks over to the two men engaged in conversation and hesitates. They had mentioned wanting some privacy, so she waits for an opportunity to report her findings.

Prescott quickly nods to Mr. Lincoln. "The letter," he says quietly, his usual pleasant air vanished. "I want to run some tests."
