Julia was lounging with her feet up on one of the bench seats in the backroom. Playing with a strand of hair she huff and tucks the strand behind an ear. She stands up looking bored. She goes over to the door opens it a little watching the people out at the bar.

Speaking up from behind her As Julia looks out the door
"Getting a little bored from the silence Julia?"
Mr. Lincoln looks at Julia watching her reaction

Julia doesn't jump but closes the door quietly and quickly. She turns around. "Good evening Mr. Lincoln."
She side steps and leans against the wall there. "Bored, yes." She tilts her head in the direction of the bar. "They are interesting to watch when it gets close to St. Patrick's Day and of course on the holiday itself."

Mr. Lincoln's face remains neutral.
"Mortals I find are always interesting from their highs to there lows they consistently have the potential for greatness for weakness and for everything in between. As for your boredom that can be understandable. I find that court has its moments that bore some. But for your curiosity and boredom that is not something to be ashamed of revel in it. Be yourself and remember that in the end you have to live with yourself. I've seen far to many kimd read betray themselves for a position or status. I'd rather not see that happen to others MRS. Knight "
Mr. Lincoln walks past the female vampire as he opens the door slightly.
"Be yourself and be curious and explore fighting ones nature is not a good trait"

Julia giggles and then clears her throat trying to shrug off the giggle. "It's Miss Knight. I'm not married." She again tries not to laugh.
She tilts her head slightly, and is about to say something but changes her mind. "I don't wish to keep you Mr. Lincoln have a good evening."

Mr. Lincoln bows his head slightly
"My apologies miss knight. I shall make sure to remember that. And feel free to return anytime as old as I am I am new to this city and unfortunately behind on meeting everyone. And don't fret about the little things they age you. "
Mr. Lincoln pauses then holds out his hand.
"If I remember correctly this is the correct way to say goodby these days. "

When Julia grabs his hand it is not the old way of gently laying her hand so that a gentleman may kiss it. She grips his hand and shakes it firmly. "That is correct. I shall see you around Mr. Lincoln."

As one Ventrue exits another enters
William Vane enters the bar and immediately starts to scan the crowd. He is dressed down this evening, sporting a pair of khakis, dark shirt, and sweater vest. He moves hesitantly through the crowded, stopping here and there to greet a few people he seems to know.
He eventually makes his way to Julia
“Hello there, Miss Knight isn’t it? I don’t think we have had the pleasure of a formal introduction? I am William Vane.” He extends his hand with a wide smile.

Julia watches him make his threw the crowd, she seems curious by all of the interactions. "Yes. Julia Knight." She shakes his hand the same as with Mr. Lincoln. "Nice to meet you, William." She says smiling. "How long have you been in the city?"

“Likewise Miss Knight” William shakes her hand firmly
“Oh it’s been a while now, twenty years? No it must be more than that … I moved here permanently a good while ago, it’s been an honor to reside in such an exciting city.” He takes a small bottle of hand sanitizer out of his pocket and applies a small amount to his hand.
“So how are you doing this evening? Simply out for a little entertainment?” He takes off his thick black framed glasses and cleans them on a piece of cloth from his pocket.

She watches him clean his hands, she looks a little amused but doesn't say anything. She sighs, "No. Not really." she folds her arms and leans against the wall again. "I was just people watching and talking with Mr. Lincoln. I'm sure you must have past by him."

“I did see Mr Lincoln on my way out. People watching is a very interesting endeavor, do you find great value in the practice?” William continues to smile in a very practiced way. He stands in a rigid pose that doesn't look terribly comfortable, like the kind of pose you would see in a cheap department store catalogue.

"Yes, do you know what holiday is coming up?" She thinks for a moment, pulls out a smartphone out of her back jeans pockets and clicks a side button. The glow of the screen flashes for a second. "Just double checking the date." She says smiling.

William chuckles to himself “Why yes, Saint Patrick's day. I believe there is quite the event planned at the Country Club. The rituals involved are very different in recent years, I must say it is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.”
