Julia is sitting at one of the backroom tables tablet in front of her. The glow from the screen is brighter then the dim bar lights. She reaches out over the table to grab her glass of what looks like soda she takes a swig and then looks at the glass and sighs. "The new guys never put enough rum." She shakes her head and puts the glass down.
She contuines to work on the tablet.

Max walks into the Elysium. He greets the staff, waves to the busy ones, and even makes a comment about the baseball season to one of the waiters before heading into the backroom. Not seeing anyone but Julia, the Toreador Primogen heads over to her table, taking the seat across.
"Hello there, I don't believe we've ever formally met. I'm Maximilian Ulrich. Aren't you the great-great grand childer of the Architect?"

Julia glances up from her tablet and smiles, "Yes, I am. My name is Julia or Miss Knight, for some reason others like to call me that." She says this with a giggle. She then pushes the tablet aside a little bit but keeps the screen facing her and holds out her hand to shake his.
Her tone changes to a business like manner."I was just going over his appointment book, did you wish to speak with him, Primogen?"

Max thinks about that for a moment.
"You know, it wasn't my goal here, but I should. It's probably best to keep him in the information loop after he walked out of that meeting."

Julia contuines with her business like tone, "His next available appointment is at 3 tomorrow night." ((OOG: I will send Pockets a message to let him know of the 'appointment' and you two can PM, or of course you could actually just meet up the day of the game and I'll 'book' you.)) She slides the tablet back over to her and she taps the screen.

He gives a nod.
"I thank you for such a close time slot."
He leans back and going through his next few moves.
"So, how are things with the Tremere these days? I understand things were getting pretty tense there with Sabaat attacks specifically singling out members of your clan, but that hasn't been updated in a while leaving me to assume they have stopped that for the cease fire at least."

Julia doesn't look up as she is tapping into the screen in front of her, most likely entering in Max's appointment. She presses the button at the tap and the screen goes dark and she pushes it aside again.
"I am going to guess the same, Primogen, or maybe we are just really good at covering our tracks." She let's out a little nervous laugh and takes a swig from her drink. "My grandsire would know more, of course."

Max gives a shrug.
"Fair enough. I just learned at a young age that cease fires are just times to gather weapons for the war. So as long as kindred aren't being followed and spied on, hopefully there can be a favorable enough information edge."

Julia seems to perk up a bit seeming curious, "When you were young?" She then seems to remember something, "Excuse me, my grandsire tells me to not ask such forward questions." She smiles sheepishly.
"Anyway, you say it is good to find information... do you know if they are spying on us?"

Max sighs.
"Can't say that I do. Just been busy with West Manchester, and that has spies that are hard to root out, even if I can just sense them on the edge. But if it whether I think they are. The simplest way to predict someone is to ask ones self how they would try something, or if they would. So given given the Sabaat get to walk past where Elysium is, and many of the other holdings we have of note up here, so they can freely move between their controlled area, and the spots the prince gave them in the cease fire. I'd be spying. And it'd be damn easy to do cause I always just seem to be walking past to get between areas, or working a network from the parks in the middle of it all, or hell just stand in plain sight given they wrote it and likely had no clause for that as much as no fighting."

"Interesting angle, using contacts involved with the parks of the city." She thinks for a moment, "I remember that we are not allowed in certain areas but are they not allowed in some of our controlled areas? I also remember that the Prince is thinking of changing locations because well, the Sabbat know where we are. Do you think they are hiding mystically? I could be of help if that is the case." She smiles, "When you meet with my grandsire perhaps we can come to an agreement?"

"Well, right now this area isn't exactly considered controlled territory." (Political map link Here) "So really that just saying no South Manchester. If it's Obfuscation, that just takes a touch of effort to watch for, though it can be hard to tell when to spend the effort. Now, as for moving Elysium...." Max steeples his fingers. "Elysium is Elysium. It's really not something anyone can make another of. It's considered to be above and past all politics, clans, sect, and so on. It's not a Camerilla thing, as much as something older. Kind of a primeval magic that forms to it over the centuries. But it's not something anyone challenges, even if no other Sect maintains it." (In the book page 414 for why the Sabaat still fear attacking Elysium, and page 384-386 for the rules on Elysium.)

Paul was sitting on the other end of the bar, and mostly keeping to himself and going over some notes in a booth. Every now and then he'd survey the patrons and jot something down in a strange shorthand.
Eventually he notices the other kindred, closes his notebook, and makes his way over, "Good evening. Is this a private conversation or may I join you two?"

Max looks over at the Assimite.
"I don't have a problem with it, and I'm sure having another Primogen around isn't that big a problem."

He nods his head in appreciation, "Thank you sir."
Sliding into the chair without pulling it out, he asks, "What is tonight's topic?"
