The following kindred listed are the acknowledged members of the Camarilla court of the city of Manchester New Hampshire. The information compiled is a combination of out of game information provided to the players by the google doc provided by the staff, and in character introductions made to the harpy/prince. Titles, generation, player/character names will be provided and those listed are able to maintain titles in the city and keep boons with the harpy of the Camarilla court. If you do not see your character listed here, you should get a hold of the harpy/prince as soon as you can. Not listed kindred are not extended the protection afforded to them by the fifth tradition of hospitality.

Do the Assamite and Non-Pillar Primogen carry Primogen status or are the titles just for show as a point of contact? Also, why aren't Assamite lumped in with Non-Pillar?

I ask because that has a number of impacts on politics as well as likely viewpoints of outsiders that are new to the city.

There were a number of changes in this edition, one being that Assamites are now accepted as a pillar clan and Gangrel are not. This means they even have a Justicar. Primogen seats are decided by the prince, and don't need to be done by clan. It's just the norm that there is one from each pillar.

Non-pillars having a primogen is a special case and not normally seen in this setting.

Only the vizier bloodline of Assamites are a pillar clan. The rest are back home getting eaten by their Methuselah.

Having a non pillar primogen is a completely new concept. (And completely unexpected by me) I'd say the fact that they have been recognized as an actual primogen would grant the status associated with the position. If the rest of the Primogen wish to remove that position well then that is up to them.

Ah. OK. The setting for the game is straight from the book then. I couldn't really find that info anywhere on the website. I've been playing mixed OWOD and BNS settings for a while and have been a bit used to that. (Though I will finally get to play in Blood and Betrayal at BNS' Grand Masquerade in September.

So in this system a primogen seat is usually given out whenever the prince decides that group needs a seat be it through hard work political pressure or other means. The fun part is that it's not limited to one seat per clan. So in theory the non pillar gangril can mock everyone as they gain 4 seats. The trade off is that once you break a number of promogen I think it's 9 primogen the prince becomes a lesser prince. And loses the respect of local leaders. As for the non pillar promogen that's a funny story how it happened but what I find interesting is the politics that are keeping it there.

Lesser, or Petty, Princes are also ones who have less than 4 Pillar clans with Primogen seats. Because it takes 4 Primogen expending their Noble to remove a Prince from power and you can't do that with only 3 or less Primogen. (Having lots of Primogen also tends to mean you can get ousted much more easily too.

I'm saying that as something that goes against accepted Camarilla practices, the Primogen could throw a fit, and pressure the Prince to remove the non-pillar Primogen.

The Prince ultimately decides who gets a seat at the big kid's table, but the Primogen can also remove the Prince, so there shouldn't be a lot of disruption to the status quo or people get angry...

Three Primogen can spend each of their Abiding Status to strip the Prince of his three Abiding Status granted by the position, and with the blessing of an Archon, remove the Prince from power and hold a new Praxis. I cannot remember the page this is on, but it's in the rule book.

The Primogen cannot remove a Primogen from their council, but the Harpy can be used to inflict some pretty hefty Status penalties over any scandal that Primogen induces.
