As Maximilian opens the door, Nick's heightened senses can see the kindred from down the street. He figures the area to be safe and if a Neonate is in the building than clearly it's ok for him to enter. He comes over and enters the building and gives the Toreador at the entrance a raised eyebrow at the mention of a fight. He doesn't press the subject, instead heads past him into the building to find the other. When he sees the elder Andrew Lincoln he gives the kindred a nod and motions around.
"Didn't read most of the text, was nearby... What the hell is going on?"
Nick asked and looked over the other kindred and gave them a some what friendly scowl that anyone who's been in town knows to be the harpy's default demeanor.

*nods* Yes, I will talk with them. I'm sure that they will be more than happy to be a protection escort for us. Err the investigation party.
Also, one is with a construction group, maybe he can push a little and get the bid to do the remodeling?
The Sheriff should also be in the know. I do not want to over step his territory.

Turning towards Nick, Mr. Lincoln speaks to him
"As im sure you have heard with the meeting of the Prince and the Primogen there was an attack and we have lost contact with every party involved in that meeting. I do not know their status at this point and no one knows much we are gathing our forces to investigate and discover what happened as well as how. in addition we are looking for who betrayed us and gave the sabbat the information to discover the location of the meeting.

"yes we must get the sheriff involved in this as both our best witness to what happened as well as having good conections in the unions. Actually no the paper spoke of our seninshal leaving the meeting before the fire started we should also organize a group to look for him as he is the best witness of what happened before he left."

As Andrew spoke, Nick's face twitched some as calculations played out over his face. He looked around at the assembled kindred and then at the room.
"They were attacked... Here?"
Nick asked and looked around again.

Nick heaves a deep breath, which is seemingly natural for the kindred, and pushes back his hair nervously.
"I must have misheard about the primogen meeting... sometimes I get things... confused."
The Malkavian explains as he starts to pace around the room a little.
"How did you hear about this?"

"listing to the mortals talk the fire is public knowledge same with the seninshal leaving early. combine that with no one hearing from their primogen since thursday. unless you know something we don't. Added together this is a bad looking situation and we need to act."

Sir, I'm sorry. I know some of this cities history, but I do not know it all.
How well do you know him. My mind is always open, but you need to view the problems from all angles.
Anyone else have ideas? I feel odd taking a lot, I generally like to be looked over *smiles*
